In this volume, the unpublished photos of "The King's Crib" (so called because it belonged to Ferdinando IV di Borbone, King of two Sicilies) are collected; the Diocesan Museum Domberg in Frisinga (Germany) houses it. This collection of eighteenth-century neapolitan sculptures is very precious. A short multilingual (italian, english, french, german) text describes the story of this crib, the artists that created the sculptures, the scene painters that staged it. |
